FISHING ROMANIA

5 days / 4 nights

The lakes, channels and estuaries of the vast Danube Delta in Romania are a paradise for anglers. The 5,400 square kilometer nature reserve is amongst the most tranquil and picturesque fishing destinations in Europe and abundant with game fish. Fishing for pike, carp, catfish, zander, roach, bream and perch is open for most of the year except for the short spawning period in April and May. The Delta is an interesting destination for the most seasoned angler as it is for the relative novice and with options to fish from land and boats. The vast variety of waters and landscapes offer challenging fishing opportunities with virtually thousands of locations to choose from. The Danube Delta is also the natural habitat for a vast variety and huge numbers of birds, many of them absolutely unique to this world heritage site.

At the Delta Nature Resort we have our own Exploration Center, where we employ expert fishing guides with intricate knowledge of terrain and water ways. With the help of their expertise you will find the best places and have the ultimate fishing experience. Various sizes of boats, specialised equipment and tackle are available at this brand new center.
