Highlights include tours in Cairo to the Giza plateau, featuring the Great Pyramid and Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum of antiquities where you will marvel at King Tut's treasures plus Sakkarra with the famous stepped pyramid and Dahshur with the first of the stone pyramids. Old Cairo with it's famous churches and synagogue and the Citadel of Salah el Din, bane of the crusaders. In Luxor you will see Karnak and Luxor temples on the East bank of the Nile. Visiting the Necropolis of Thebes on the Western bank of the Nile you will visit the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut's temple, the Colossi of Memnon and more. While on the cruise you will enjoy stops at the Temple of Horus in Edfu and at Kom Ombo tour the Temple of Two Gods. In Aswan tours of the high dam, the temple of Philae, the Pharaohs granite quarries with the unfinished Obelisk, the Nubian Museum and Elephantine Island are all included. All costs associated with these visits including transportation, entry fees, guide, service charges and taxes are already included in the tour price.

On the cruise your cabin will be located on the upper decks where you will have panoramic views of the Nile. Day 01: (Saturday) ARRIVE CAIRO
Arriving Cairo staff assists with clearing immigration and customs then transfers you to the Cairo Marriott or the Kempinski Nile hotel.
At either hotel you will have a Deluxe Nile view room. Overnight Cairo

VISAS: All travelers to Egypt are required to obtain a visa for entry. Citizens of certain countries can currently obtain one on arrival however this is subject to change without notice. The best thing is to obtain your visa in advance. In most countries these can be obtained from an Egyptian consulate.

Spend the day on a guided tour of the Egyptian National Museum featuring King Tut's treasures. Afterwards staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in and you fly to Luxor. Arriving staff transfers you to the Sonesta Luxor Hotel or the Maritim Kings Island Resort where you will have a Nile view room. Overnight Luxor
Meals: Buffet Breakfast

Staff will meet you at the hotel lobby for transfer to your Deluxe Five Star Nile Cruiser, the M/S Amarco. Lunch on board then visit the East Bank of Luxor including the Temple of Luxor and the Temple of Karnak. Temple of Queen Hatshepsut

Day 04:
Enjoy a tour of Luxor's Necropolis of Thebes including the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. After the tour return to the ship for lunch while cruising to Esna. Cross the river lock and continue cruising to Edfu. Dinner. Evening entertainment. Overnight Cruise / Edfu

Day 05:
Tour the Temple of Horus, the best preserved of all the Nile temples. Have lunch while cruising to Kom Ombo. Evening guided tour of the Temple of two gods. The temple is unique because its double design means that there are courts, halls, sanctuaries and rooms duplicated for two gods, Sobek and Haroeris. Dinner while cruising to Aswan. Unfinished Obelisk

Tour the Aswan High Dam, the Temple of Philae and the Unfinished Obelisk at the Pharaohs granite quarries. Following the tours return to the ship for lunch. Afternoon free to enjoy Aswan. Farewell dinner. Evening entertainment. Overnight Aswan

Great SphinxDisembark the cruise after your buffet breakfast. Enjoy a tour of the Nubian museum, a world class presentation of Nubia's history and culture plus the famous Aswan spice market. After the tour transfer to the Movenpick Elephantine Island Resort or the Aswan Nile Resort. At either you will have a Deluxe Nile view room with private balcony. Overnight Aswan

Optional excursion to Abu Simbel

Staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in and you fly to Cairo. Arriving enjoy a tour of the Giza Plateau featuring the Great Pyramid and Sphinx. After the tour staff transfers you to the Mena House Hotel where you will have a pyramid view garden room. Overnight Cairo.

Stepped PyramidDay 09: (Sunday) SAQQARA, DAHSHUR, MEMPHIS
Buffet breakfast then a visit to Sakkarra with the Stepped Pyramid, Dahshur, with the first of the stone pyramids, (the Bent and the Red) plus the new Imhotep museum and the ruins of Memphis, (the ancient capital). Overnight Cairo

Enjoy a tour of Old Cairo with it's famous churches and synagogue plus the Citadel of Salah el Din, bane of the crusaders and the Alabaster Mosque. Visit the Khan el Khalili bazaar where travelers have been finding bargains since the middle ages. Overnight Cairo

Alabster MosqueDay 11: (Tuesday) INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURE
Staff will transfer you to the airport, assist with exit formalities and checking in for your international departure. (meals on the flight)
