

Day 01: (Saturday) Arrive Cairo,
staff will assist with clearing immigration and customs then
transfer you to the Le
Meridien Pyramids hotel. Overnight Cairo (D)
VISAS:
All travelers to Egypt must have a visa. Citizens of most countries can obtain one on arrival. Please let us know what passport you are traveling with and we will confirm whether you can get your’s on arrival.
Day 02:
(Sunday) Enjoy a full international buffet breakfast and meet
your guide, one of Egypt's top Female Egyptologists before
starting the day at the Pyramids
of Giza, home of the 7th wonder of the world, the Great
Pyramid. Visit the inscrutable Sphinx
and then a wonderful afternoon to explore the treasures of
the Egyptian
Antiquity Museum featuring King
Tut's treasures then end the day with a visit to the Khan
el Khalili bazaar where travelers have been finding bargains
since the middle ages. Overnight Cairo (B,L,D)
Day
03: (Monday) Buffet breakfast, check out of the hotel
and staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking
in and you fly to Luxor. Arriving, staff will transfer you
to your 5 star Deluxe Nile cruiser, the Queen
of Hansa. Ship features include panoramic opening floor
to ceiling windows, large cabins, T.V./video/radio, private
baths and individual climate control. Lunch, then visit Luxor
and Karnak
Temples. Watch the sunset over the Necropolis
of Thebes while enjoying dinner. Evening entertainment.
Overnight Luxor (B at the hotel, L,D on the ship)
OPTIONAL sound and light show at Karnak temple.
Day 04:
(Tuesday) Enjoy breakfast while sailing to Esna. Pass the
Esna lock and sail to Edfu. Lunch on board. Dinner and evening
entertainment. Overnight Edfu (B,L,D)
Day
05: (Wednesday) Breakfast then visit the Temple
of Horus. Enjoy lunch while sailing to Kom Ombo then to
Aswan. Dinner and evening entertainment. Overnight Aswan (B,L,D)
Day 06: (Thursday) Breakfast then
visit the High
Dam, the Unfinished
Obelisk and the Temple
of Philae. Lunch. FREE BONUS: Afternoon visit to the Botanical
Gardens traveling by Felucca
(native sailboat). These are wind powered only so if there
is no wind this will not operate. Dinner and evening entertainment

OPTIONAL (extra cost) tour to Abu
Simbel available this morning. If you take this excursion
the site visits to Philae temple, etc. will be Friday morning. (cost is $250 a person, including transfers, flights, private tour with entry fees, service charges and taxes)
Day
07: (Friday) Breakfast, Free morning to enjoy Aswan
or optional excursions, Lunch on board. Afternoon sail to
Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple
of Kom Ombo and sail to Edfu. Dinner and evening entertainment.
Overnight Edfu. (B,L,D)
OPTIONAL excursions:
* Camel trek to St. Simeon's Monastery ruins: $60 per person
* Visit to the Nubian Museum, a world class presentation of
Nubia's history and culture plus the famous spice market:

Day 08:
(Saturday) Breakfast while sailing to Esna. Cross the lock and continue sailing to Luxor. Lunch while sailing. Dinner and evening entertainment. Overnight Luxor (B,L,D)
Day 09:
(Sunday) Breakfast then cross the Nile and visit the West
Bank (the Valley
of the Kings and Queens,
the Temple
of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari and the Colossi
of Memnon). Lunch on board. Afternoon free at leisure
in Luxor. Dinner and evening entertainment. Overnight Luxor
(B,L,D)
Day
10: (Monday) After breakfast staff transfers you to
the airport, assists with checking in and you fly to Cairo.
Transfer by air-conditioned coach to Alexandria,
the city Alexander the Great built and Cleopatra made famous.
Enjoy the comfort of the Sheraton Montazah Hotel, right on
the shore of the Mediterranean Sea. Overnight Alexandria (B
on the ship, Lunch en-route to Alexandria, Dinner in Alexandria)
Day 11: (Tuesday) A full day touring
the wonders of Alexandria including the catacombs,
the museums, the Greco-roman sites and the new library.

Day 12:
(Wednesday) Enjoy Alexandria in the morning and return to
Cairo in the afternoon. Arriving transfer to the Fairmont
Heliopolis hotel. Overnight Cairo (B,L,D)
Day 13: (Thursday) After your buffet
breakfast enjoy a tour of Old
Cairo with it's famous churches and synagogue plus the
Citadel
of Salah el Din, bane of the crusaders and the Alabaster
Mosque. Overnight Cairo (B,L,D)
OPTIONAL sound and light show at the pyramids this evening.
Day 14:
(Friday) Visit Memphis (the ancient capital), Sakkarra with the Stepped Pyramid and Dahshur with it's famous Bent Pyramid and Red Pyramid. Overnight Cairo (B,L,D)
Day 15:
(Saturday) Staff will transfer you to the airport, assist with exit formalities and checking in for your international departure. (meals on the flight)

OPERATES WITH NO MINIMUM AND A MAXIMUM OF 16 TRAVELERS. Domestic flights in Egypt in coach (economy) class. All transfers by air-conditioned vehicle relating to the tour program starting with arrival to Cairo. rooms and the cost of the tour will be reduced accordingly
